Look, the drop rate for them are INCREDIBLY low and always will be (otherwise, they'd go the way of the clossal scimitar, voltaic spear, etc).

Doing only 37 runs is hardly significant. I'm willing to bet that the people who got them and regularly farmed the area (like deluxe) did it almost a hundred times before getting one (unless u are lucky like Broken Souls).

Plus, keep in mind that purple, imperfect stats crystallines still aren't worth THAT much (like 40-60k was the going price a year ago). It would be more cost effective to farm for the money via raptors with that time and then buy one. That's why this run isn't that popular.

PS, that screenshot by Broken Souls should be enough proof for you, since he's using an asuran skill.

Not that I know of. I don't recall those chests being affected by HM and NM, since they only drop purples anyways, and a max (I think?) of 3 items per chest.

I wish I had a crystalline...even if it had crap mods just has to be max dmg

I always wondered why those chests were there, they never seemed to give me anything. I sent my heroes away, suddenly got 2-3 purples each chest. Got a purple 15-21 crystalline 13^50 my third run too. Just wish it was max dmg; Goren doesn't seem to mind though.

yea, the drop rate is low, around 1%, but that is acceptable since a gold one has much less of a chance to drop.

I bought a purple max req 10 14%/ench about 3 weeks ago, didn't think to ask her where or when she'd acquired it. The handle had been dyed black (what a waste of a black dye) and it had a 20/20 sunder on it. I replaced the sunder with a furious and redyed it (red, in case you're wondering).

Considering I've seen people asking 100k + a gazillion ectos for req 9 15^50s, I feel the 75k I spent was a fairly reasonable amount, certainly a lot cheaper than my Tormented (not to mention better looking imo), which Koss is now using. Almost a shame that I don't really pug with that toon - no one gets to see it but me.

sorry to burst your bubble but I rather doubt you will have enough gold to buy a dryad bow out of selling a purple crystaline <unless you get super lucky with stats and find someone whi is really willing to pay a lot/trade for it>
